The Hidden Falls necklace is handmade with graduated mother of pearl elongated teardrops, antique brass cable chain, black and brass textured beads, and an antique brass toggle clasp. Approximately 20" in length.
I designed this necklace with the Grand Tetons Hidden Falls waterfall in mind...
While it wasn’t the most beautiful waterfall we’d ever seen, or the biggest, it was such an unexpected sight on one of the most beautiful hikes we’ve ever taken.
We were camped about 10 miles from Grand Teton Nation park with gorgeous views of the Tetons to the west and had already spent several days exploring. We hadn't really researched much, but we knew we wanted to hike to Inspiration Point. We wanted to take the long way, so we hiked around Jenny Lake and joined the trailhead just past the ferry dock. We could hear the waterfall before we could see it. The sound of rushing water echoed through the canyon until the trees opened up and the falls roared up ahead.
But standing there on that wooden bridge, with the Tetons peeking through the trees, the cool air coming off the water, and a moose wandering in the distance, everyone instinctively stopped hiking and stood still, taking it all in.
The interesting thing is, the waterfall wasn't even why we were there. We had set out to hike to Inspiration Point. The Falls was simply something we discovered along the way. And somehow, that's the part of the day I remember most.

Is my jewelry waterproof?
Each type of jewelry needs to be cared for differently but is listed in detail on each product page.
I use a lot of Brass which is comprised of copper and zinc (and is lead free). Brass has been around for awhile and when taken care of, it will hold up for a very long time. Think hardware!
I also use sterling and fine silver which can be cleaned with a sterling cleaner. I prefer a sunshine cloth because it is less harsh than liquid cleaner.
My gold-filled items are 14 parts gold and 6 parts brass. It is labeled as 14/20 Gold-Filled. It's the closest you'll get to gold without the price tag of solid gold. And it is water resistant!
Rule of thumb: when in doubt, take your jewelry off before you go to the gym, before you sleep, and before you shower.
Don't spray hairspray or use lotions, perfumes, oils etc. near your beautiful jewelry.
Use a sunshine cloth for certain metals, or a dry soft cloth to rub the oils and dirt away after wearing. But don't try and clean anything plated.

Do you offer e-gift cards and physical gift cards?
We do! Physical gift cards may take up to a week and a half to arrive. E-gift cards are delivered via email instantly.
All gift cards are only available to customers shipping within the U.S.
Can I request a different length of chain?
I hand cut most of our chain, so I am usually able to cut to a requested length. That being said, some necklace I make in bulk and may not be able to make them longer. Just ask!
