We use a lot of different metals:
14k gold-filled, satin gold-plated, sterling, brass and soon-copper. We prefer however, to use brass the most.
Brass is the metal that gets the most questions. What is it and what is it made of? It is not “gold tone” - it’s raw brass. It’s the good kind: lead and nickel free -and it’s a recycled metal - made of copper and zinc. I personally am allergic to a ton of metals, but I can wear brass : ).
